Climate adaptation

  • Dive into the climate of the coming decades

  • Anticipate weather hazards

  • Identify local risks

  • Discover the solutions

Welcome to InformationClimat.ch, an information NGO dedicated to climate hazards.
We communicate extreme weather events,
analyze the different forecasts of their evolution, and help you adapt.

Climate Change

Global warming brings heat waves that cause droughts and fires.
It also causes severe flooding. Storms are accompanied by strong winds, hail, lightning, and even tornadoes. Understanding these disasters will allow effecient adaptation.

IPCC forecasts for +2°C

A warming of 1.5°C will already bring a high risk of extreme events. Forecasts indicatea rise in extreme temperatures and unprecedented heatwaves.

Heavier rainfall is also expected. If temperatures reach +2°C, the precipitation will be even heavier, causing widespread flooding. Virtually the entire European territory is at risk.

Heavy rains and heat also cause landslides and mudslides.
